Becky Auyer, PT, CMCOWNER
Becky is a Licensed Physical Therapist and an Advanced Professional with the Aging Life Care Association. She holds a Care Manager Certification through the Academy of Certified Care Managers and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. With over 35 years of Home Care and Geriatric specialization, she is knowledgeable of the challenges facing the aging population and passionate about assisting them to “Age Well”. She has developed close affiliations with numerous home health agencies, businesses, vendors and service providers and makes sure that she recommends the very best for her clients. Her personal journey involved the care and medical advocacy for her mother who handled 25 years of Parkinson’s Disease with grace and determination. She was the inspiration for Inspire Care in 2011. Becky believes that you become “Family” when you enlist the compassionate services provided by the Inspire Care Team.
Carol McBride, RNAGING LIFE CARETM PROFESSIONAL
Carol is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience serving the central New York area. For 13 of those years, Carol was a Home Care Nurse and brings a wealth of experiences working within the medical community.
As a Care Manager, Carol works with clients and family members to determine the type and level of needed services and assists in coordination and implementation. Carol is a PRI Certified Assessor and trained through the Red Cross in Disaster Relief.
Cheryl MetzADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Cheryl has 2.5 years experience as a Patient Service Coordinator. She has a passion for helping the downtrodden and has been involved as a volunteer at the Salvation Army for over 20 years.
Cheryl is the mother of four beautiful children and has lived in the CNY area for over 26 years. Prior to that she and her family resided in the Midwest in Chicago. Cheryl has an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies but her love of older individuals and a desire to assist them with their individual challenges makes her an asset to Inspire Care.
Trudy Scarr, RNAGING LIFE CARETM PROFESSIONAL
Trudy has a passion for working with the elderly, and over 34 years of experience as a registered nurse, with a background including neuro, trauma, and surgical intensive care, doctors’ offices, senior homecare services and senior adult home administration. With personal experience caring for a parent with Alzheimer’s, Trudy has not only the medical experience, but the empathy and compassion to make close relationships with clients, families, local resources and referral sources, helping bring the “peace of mind” you need in understanding the care required for your loved one. She is a certified PRI assessment nurse and an Alzheimer’s Support Group Facilitator. Trudy resides in Skaneateles, NY with her husband, has two adult children, and recently completed her B.S. in Organizational Management (Keuka College).
Carrie Scholz, LMSWAGING LIFE CARETM PROFESSIONAL
Carrie is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 30 years of professional experience in care management, medical social work, community mental health programming and patient advocacy. She has worked with several health organizations over the past 30 years, providing patient education and support, treatment option research, and education on clinical trials and advocacy. She has extensive care management experience, and has developed and facilitated wellness programs targeting anxiety, depression and resiliency with seniors.
Her areas of experience and interest include aging life care with a focus on self-determination, quality of life, and helping clients become pro-active healthcare consumers.
